Can you spot an ongoing trend that I just can’t shake off? A bow tie around collared shirts! I just think it gives the perfect final touch to an outfit, with a chance to add a bit of color too! This time around I went back to my trusty beaded ASOS bow, but usually my bows are just ribbons from the craft store or even headband ties!

I’m also loving this chiffon blazer, it’s a perfect way to be slightly dressier without it adding too thick of a layer, especially how hot it’s been lately, phew! And instead of going for the traditional black and white outfit I went for a bright pink top to add a pop of color! I was also going to paint on some polka-dotted lipstick but that didn’t go so well… haha, hopefully one day!

Wow, it’s been a heck of a week! It was my 2 year anniversary with my amazing boyfriend Matt AND I got to help out on a Vogue photoshoot because of my awesome friend Gustavo! I don’t think that I’m allowed to say much about it but it was definitely a great experience and I was in fashion heaven! I wanted all the clothes that were there O__O! Can’t wait to see the final photos!

So, I’m continuing to stockup on bright clothes! I love how wearing bright clothes somehow makes me happier… does it for you? Especially with all the rain we’ve been having this week (in Los Angeles) I sometimes forget it’s spring! 

This amazing sweater from ASOS actually also comes in cardigan form too, but I’m glad I got the sweater. Just so it didn’t get too hot in the office, I went without an undershirt and just faked it with a fake collar. Finally, amazingly enough, my American Apparel chiffon scarf matched perfectly with my outfit and so I wore it around my head and I think it really gives a cute finish to the whole look =) Also, don’t forget my neon yellow socks I bought off eBay years ago… I knew they’d come in handy one day! ;)
