Business in Pink

PHEW What a week! I am terribly sorry for skipping out on a whole week of outfits! But to be honest I’ve mostly been going to work in nearly PJs since it’s just been way too hectic & stressful to plan outfits! I wore this outfit yesterday. A simple business casual look with a bit of color and florals. =)

Floral Blazer from Zara / Pink Chiffon Top, Blue High Waisted Pants, & black loafer heels from American Apparel

Sunny Skies & Floral Pastures

What’s this “festival look” that all these online stores are defining? Has this always been a thing and I just didn’t get the memo until this year? And can I wear a “festival look” when there are no festivals going on? I’m just going to have a festival at my workplace then! So I finally made the floral headband I’ve been dreaming about. It’s so big and loud and poofy and I love it! The blue matches perfectly with this patterned blazer I got in one of my Goodwill finds (it has a matching shirt and skirt too, oh my!) I didn’t want blue to overtake the entire outfit though… so I threw in some yellow lipstick! I’m really loving the OCC lip tars lately! The best part about them is that they don’t taste like lipstick! Am I the only person who HATES the taste of normal lipstick? FYI if you’re like me and are trying to find not so gross tasting lipstick I would get OCC lip tars or NARS lipsticks / jumbo lip pencils. I swear by these two brands’ lip products =)

Floral Headband made by me with Fake Flowers, Wire, Hot Glue, and Yarn =) / Patterned Blazer from Goodwill / Blue Bustier from Nasty Gal / Yellow Lip Color from OCC Cosmetics / High Waisted Jean Shorts & Leather Belt from American Apparel / Taupe Jeffrey Campbell Litas from Wasteland / Accessories from JC Penny, Romwe, and a gift / Camera Bag from Urban Outfitters

Thirty, Flirty, & Floral!

Today is my 30th outfit! (The title is a play off “30 Going on 30“‘s “Thirty Flirty & Thriving” quote, haha!) These pants are another steal from Goodwill! Then to even out the pattern I wore a plain collared shirt with a nice blazer to make my outfit work appropriate.Oh, and a ribbon around the collar is always a cute touch I love to do. And instead of buying them online for $15 bucks, just go to your local fabric/craft store and buy a bunch of different colored ribbon you like! Saves a ton of money and there are way more choices in patterns and colors! =)

Oh, and my shoes deserve to have a new paragraph, haha! I love these Messeca wedges with a fake gold heel! Really classy, although if any of you plan on getting them I would suggest you size a one to one and a half sizes down, they run so big! Still trying to figure that out…

I actually wore this outfit two days ago to a Dodger’s Baseball game! I’m not too much of a baseball fan but I’m a fan of my boyfriend so I was happy to attend with him! =) Last night we attended another event for this AMAZING podcast called Radiolab! Floral Pants from Goodwill / Leather Belt from American Apparel / White Collared Blouse from American Apparel / Black Blazer from Urban Outfitters / Ribbon from local craft store / Messeca Wedges from Ashbury Skies
