Oh My Goth!
Is purple not really my color? I think I accidentally gothed myself out with this mesh dress-turned-top. Oh well! Mesh, chiffon, and anything see-through is becoming more and more a staple in everyone’s wardrobe. Will the trend ever die down? I hope not!
Oh and excuse my poor attempt and Angelina Jolie’s sexy leg pose—I wasn’t really trying to be sexy, I just had to show off my ombre tights! ;)

It may seem like I got all these items from the same place but I’m pretty surprised at how well these go together. And then I think to myself, what would I do without Zara, ASOS, and Topshop *sigh* The key to a great monochrome outfit is the textures and patterns each piece creates. So although my top, jacket, and pants are all blue, they all stand on their own as something different. Hope everyone has / is having a great weekend!

Interview With a Stylist
I had such a fun but busy day at work yesterday, interviewing stylists of all things! So I knew I had to dress professional but I wanted to also show that I had great style so that the stylists knew that someone with a good eye was judging their work! (or I hope I do at least, haha!) My top and pants and both from Zara when they were having an incredible online sale. I’m so happy I snagged them! Is there too much pattern going on? I think they match in a strange way! Pattern mixing is my new favorite thing =)

I’ve been searching forever to try and find a really great flora/island print pant! I love the colors in these pants I’m wearing today =) Hope I didn’t over-accessorize this look though… my boyfriend says I look like a drug lord’s wife, haha. I think especially since I’m wearing my Gucci sunglasses. (they’re prescription!) Anyways, love the bright colors in this look although I’m not sure it fits my personality.

I love asymmetrical skirts! They’re definitely one of the new trends to follow this year. This outfit is pretty basic: asymmetrical skirt + crop top + jean jacket and accessories. Usually when I’m wearing mostly black and white I like to add a bit of red somewhere, this time some red lips!
Excuse my first photo with my jacket being all wonky. Woops! Let’s just say it was on purpose ;)
I just got the necklace yesterday in the mail along with some new Jeffree Campbells that I’m excited to wear soon! Wasteland is having a great deal right now with REFINERY29. Check it out here!
