Faded Rainbow
What’s better than flower headbands, rainbow skirts, skeleton tshirts, and studded vests? Nothing! I’ve been dying to show off this beautiful skirt I got some time ago as well as this studded vest I made with an old jean jacket from Goodwill. Sorry my hair is hiding most of the studs, haha. It was a fun project though and it saves so much money, I suggest everyone try it instead of spending $100+ on a studded jacket. Goodwill jacket + studs = No more than $20!

Motorcycle Chic(k)
Happy Father’s Day to all the wonderful dads out there! Personally I think I have the best dad in the world, but you’re allowed to disagree ;)
So yesterday I attended a graduation for my friends at UCLA! Congratulations to UCLA Design Media Art’s Class of 2012, and also everyone else who is graduating this year! I wanted to dress nicely for the occasion but I think I accidentally went toward rebel attire, Motorcycle Chic as I call it. =) I think I was just so excited to try on some of my new jewelry. As you can see, I piled on 4 necklaces. I love the different textures and layers that all these necklaces create! Surprisingly it’s a little tough to find the right lengths to layer but when done right, it makes a simple outfit, like this black dress, become amazing!

Rainy Days
Here in Los Angeles we don’t have to worry about “bad weather” very often. When it comes to rainy days, usually I feel lazy about dressing up because all I’m wearing is a huge warm jacket all day anyways! Plus hair always gets ruined. >__> But alas, this blog is pushing me to at least accessorize with my jacket! haha. Ironically I love rainy days.
I wanted to try and braid my hair like this today because I have a bit more time on the weekends, haha. Paired with this handmade jacket, crocheted scarf, and lace-up boots… I felt a little like a Mori Girl (A popular street fashion in Japan that translates to “forest girl”).

Jacket: Rebe (handmade, found at a craft’s fair)
Scarf: Wonder Rocket (shop in Japan)
Boots: Steve Madden
Bag: Urban Outfitters
I also went shopping for glasses today and found these cool vintage specs but didn’t think I could pull them off everyday so I didn’t get them… I did find new ones though! I will premier them on my blog once I get them, stay tuned! ^__^

Also a reminder to follow me on (Tumblr of course) Blog Lovin’, Chictopia, Lookbook, Polyvore, Twitter, and Pinterest! Haha, gosh there are so many ways of connecting! Also, if you have instagram, look me up! My username is UnravelingSky.
