I love the softness of the baby pink and mint green. The knitted print on this American Apparel skirt is subtle but super cute! But with such a simple outfit I overloaded on accessories to make up for it. In the end I have a casual outfit that’s a little dressier with some rockin’ heels! These heels could seriously be a weapon! I wonder if you could pass through airport security in them? haha.

Felt like part rocker and part flower child today! Of course I was asked “Are you really a fan of Guns & Roses?” haha. Sadly, I can’t say I’ve heard much of them to know whether I am or not… nonetheless this shirt kinda rocks, doesn’t it? Love the yellow and red hues in it! I Also got to wear my first pair of DIY jean shorts, ripped and studded by yours truly! It was super easy and fun! The jeans were a pair of Lucky Brand Jeans I got for $4 from Goodwill, score! Now I’m sort of obsessed with the idea of studded everything though… watch out for my studded jean vest that shall make it’s appearance soon! =) Oh, and don’t forget my DIY galaxy shoes, I don’t wear them enough!

Love this lace bodysuit that has been on sale at American Apparel for awhile. It’s so convenient to have a top and bottom all there for you! And I just love the lace pattern! Let’s just say I wore flowers for mother’s day! Happy Mother’s Day to all you wonderful moms out there! Hope everyone had a rockin’ weekend! =)

My boyfriend and I only recently went back to Goodwill to shop and oh my goodness, what a gem of a place! How have I forgotten about Goodwill all this time? Over the weekend I found some great jeans I’m going to tear and stud plus 3 AMAZING floral sets that have a skirt/pants, blazer, and top for each of them! And they were only $5 for each set! What a steal! Today I’m wearing a floral skirt from one of the sets. I’m so in love with florals and I love the vintage look of this print especially. I always think you can never go wrong with florals and neutrals.

I got this dress a couple years ago and haven’t work it very often. Mostly because I think it’s so precious that I don’t want to wear it. It’s from this amazing etsy store called “Vintage Opulence”. I love all the stuff she does, lace lace and more lace! Do you think it’s too much on the verge of lingerie? Oh well, who cares! It makes me feel like a fairy =) The tights I’m wearing are always confused with my real skin! People think I have a skin disease, haha. Today a lady at the market told me my leg tattoos were cool and I got so confused! Then I realized what she was thinking and told her that they were just tights, haha. Oh well, love ‘em anyway =)

I’m really excited about the UNIF sweater I’m wearing today. I’ve been seeing it everywhere and was debating whether I should get it since it’s pretty pricey (at least for me). I finally found it on a site called I Don’t Like Mondays that sold it for about $10 cheaper than everywhere else! I love that it combines two of my favorite trending things right now, American flag & Crosses! God Bless American, right? ;)

The weather is so flip floppy in Los Angeles during Spring. Was a pretty gloomy day all day and it’s expected to rain tomorrow! Today I wore a pretty casual outfit, sportin’ my favorite gothic lipstick from NARS. I got this slouchy dress on sale I think two years ago… still one of my favorites. You rarely see the low waistline nowadays… reminiscent of the good ole flapper days! I usually wear this look on hot days but since it was chili, I wore it with my trusty black blazer! I always feel a little self conscious when I’m wearing such bright clothes… but that doesn’t prevent me from wearing them! haha. I should’ve taken a picture of the back of this awesome new blue bustier I got from Nasty Gal, it’s got a cool cutout pattern! And I couldn’t resist getting this bandage skirt, I had to at least get one since they’re everywhere now and are so versatile and great for color-blocking! =) I’m always covering up with a blazer so I’m more work appropriate for work. I’m just lucky my work even lets me wear what I do!

Ever since I decided not to care about how tall I was in heels, I’ve become more of a shoe addict (oh no!) These are my latest additions, some bright red Jeffrey Campbell heels! They’re slightly harder to walk in than the Litas but totally worth it! And what’s better to pair with my bright red shoes than a bright yellow dress?! Usually I wear this dress without a belt (I love the unique a-line silhouette), but I figured since I had a red belt, it’d add to my color scheme! I always get compliments when wearing this dress. People definitely don’t wear bright yellow very often, but I love it! I sort of think people don’t believe it will look good but with some red accents (especially red lipstick!), the yellow makes a beautiful bold statement =)

Loving this new skirt I got last week! It’s a chartreuse color… chartreuse seems to be becoming more and more popular this season. Colors, colors, colors! Both pastels and neons… I love it! I’m also wearing two necklaces: my usual favorite House of Harlow necklace plus a new yellow/pink/gold weave necklace I got at a shop in Little Tokyo called Number A. What a gem of a shop! It’s like Nasty Gal but in shop form! I think it definitely calls for a trip back =)
