See You Later, Alligator
It’s been quite the week for me! Wasn’t feel too well at all, and then all work and no play this weekend! I have some catching up to do with posts! So this is an outfit I wore during the week. I’ve been looking for the perfect green blouse to match these alligator-esque pants I have. After quite the failed search, I realized I had this amazing green velveteen bodycon dress that I could double as a top if I folded it up a little for my pants to fit! haha. So alas, the perfect green top =)

Suspended
I’ve been meaning to fit suspenders into an outfit for the longest time. I feel like they are under-utilized and unappreciated, much like bow ties are. Although I’m still getting the hang of wearing them properly… I look so awkward with my uneven suspenders haha. I also really love the back of this top I’m wearing. I love all these tops that have back details, such as the ever so popular cutout backs… although sometimes I feel like they’re not worth it, especially if I’m wearing a jacket all day. Then it may just look like I’m wearing a regular t-shirt all day when I want to be showing off my rad cutout skull in the back! Can you tell I’ve really been debating getting a tshirt with a cutout skull in the back? haha.

Casual Heat
I am just crossing my fingers everyday for the heat to go away! Until then, it’s casual tshirts, shorts, and lounging in air-conditioned buildings. Hey Autumn, plan on arriving anytime soon?!

Simply Bold
Sometimes the simplest outfit can be the boldest statement. It’s been scorching hot lately and so I just felt like lounging in my super comfy chiffon dress. If some of you have been following my blog for awhile, you may recognize this dress ‘cause I have it in bright yellow too! I feel like the blue and yellow are the least popular colors but they’re the most fun… so why is that?! Without a belt, the silhouette is free flowing and super relaxed. And since the dress is so plain I paired it with a bold statement necklace and some hand accessories to finish off the look. =)

Tasseled
I made a little not-so-great setup today so I can take my own outfit photos. Definitely not as great as the ones my boyfriend takes, but it’ll do for now! You should see my living room! What a disaster! haha.
Since it’s a Saturday and I had time, I played with makeup a bit more and had a little fun! I look like a vampire in my outfit photos because of the lighting though haha. Here are a few crappy Photo Booth pictures of my makeup =)

I’ve been dying to get these tasseled shorts! I love both the print and the tassels! I’m so obsessed that I’m thinking I may make my own DIY tasseled shorts! The simple trim adds so much interesting detail! So finally they went on sale AND Refinery29 was having a great coupon deal with Wasteland so I snatched them up! One more to cross off my wish list!

Rebel With A Job
AHH!!! Work has been soooooo crazy lately! I apologize, it’s been getting harder and harder to plan outfits lately. Work has been slightly overwhelming and stressful. The beginning of my week consisted of pretty professional business casual clothing because I was having a bunch of meetings so after all of that, all I wanted to do was rebel a little and wear some 90s grunge rock inspired stuff. Most of what I’m wearing is from Goodwill + DIY! I love plaid, hence the plaid shirt and plaid shoes! What do you think about the 90s grunge rock look? Do you miss Kurt Cobain and Pink-Haired Gwen Stefani? I gotta say, some styles in the 90s were a definite no no, but 90s rockers had great style!

Summer School Girl
School’s out for summer (at least for those of you still attending school, that is) but I’m still going to rock the school girl bow tie year long. I actually have been really wanting one of these ties and finally found one on my trip to New York at a small Japanese-owned vintage store. This boater hat is also a Japanese trend and I’ve been meaning to wear it more often. It actually doesn’t protect my eyes from the sun at all but a cute boater had adds the cherry on top of a cute outfit, don’t you think?

Down to the Shoelaces
Hello hello hello! This was a look I wore on Friday but I was completely lazy about uploading it since I had a heck of a weekend! I hope you guys don’t mind that I don’t usually post on the weekend since I’m usually just in my PJs lazying around haha. If it weren’t for workdays who knows what I would look like?! O__O So this is just a simple chiffon shirt that I love to match with with my black shoes with the same exact colored chiffon shoelaces! Haha, well they’re both from American Apparel so that’s how they match so perfectly ^__^
By the way, if you guys haven’t seen 5 Year Engagment, I suggest you do! It was hilarious!!! Especially the Spanish love song part! You will know what I mean once you see it ;)

Zombies!!!!!
Uh oh, I’m sort of getting this punk vibe in my soul. Had to test it out a little today. I ordered some studs over the weekend to start studding some things as well. THINGS ARE GUNNA GET CRAZY! Haha. So anyways, today’s funky outfit includes so many amazing new additions to my closet! The zombie shirt and the new rings are from Number A Boutique again. Went there for my “birthday weekend” since my boyfriend got me a gift certificate there! =) Sunday we went to DISNEYLAND!!! But that’s besides the point… these new jeans from ASOS are so rad, I was worried they weren’t going to fit but they fit PERFECTLY and I love them so much more in person than I thought I would! The perfect ending to this outfit was of course, a jean jacket, but I had to take it off to show you the zombie shirt ;)

JC Penny April Blogger
Hello everyone! Sorry my blog has been down, apparently the bandwith has run out because so many of you amazing people have been visiting it! Haha, I’m not complaining but I’ll definitely try and fix it for this next month. The images should be up by tomorrow again =)
So a couple weeks ago JC Penny contacted me to ask if I wanted to be their April fashion blogger. I was supposed put together an outfit inspired by my birthstone, the diamond! I was so excited to do this! The outfit I came up with is all blue since blue diamonds are my favorite. The floral skirt was definitely an awesome find from JC Penny and I’m absolutely in love with the print! Everyone at work said I looked so Spring-y in it! hehe.
