Parisian Cat Lady

What is it about cats on a top that make it immediately buyable? Is this only true for me, or for you as well? I love cats! And if I thought about it for a moment, I would assume cats to be the the most fashionable amongst our everyday animals. Wearing the “cat eye” look of course ;)

So lately it’s been magnificent weather! Bright and sunny without the heat! It’s actually incredibly chilly (like real autumn!) So on days like these I like to wear something a little warmer on top (sweaters) and something a little less so on the bottom (shorts with knee high socks.) Oh, and don’t forget the head! Berets are surprisingly warm!

All Choked Up

I really need to find myself a great belt for days when I feel a little more grunge. A trip to Hot Topic perhaps? (my favorite childhood shop! haha) But anyway, I’m loving my leopard print crop top. The fabric is really great quality and although you can’t tell in these photos, the neckline is faux leather. Sometimes it’s all in the details. Oh, and say hello to walkable black booties! HELLO!!!! =)

See You Later, Alligator

It’s been quite the week for me! Wasn’t feel too well at all, and then all work and no play this weekend! I have some catching up to do with posts! So this is an outfit I wore during the week. I’ve been looking for the perfect green blouse to match these alligator-esque pants I have. After quite the failed search, I realized I had this amazing green velveteen bodycon dress that I could double as a top if I folded it up a little for my pants to fit! haha. So alas, the perfect green top =)

‘Red’y for Fall

I always forget that Southern California Autumns are more like summers! The heat is dreadful, I’m ready for Fall!

Bandaged

I always feel a little self conscious when I’m wearing such bright clothes… but that doesn’t prevent me from wearing them! haha. I should’ve taken a picture of the back of this awesome new blue bustier I got from Nasty Gal, it’s got a cool cutout pattern! And I couldn’t resist getting this bandage skirt, I had to at least get one since they’re everywhere now and are so versatile and great for color-blocking! =) I’m always covering up with a blazer so I’m more work appropriate for work. I’m just lucky my work even lets me wear what I do!

They Call me (un)Mellow Yellow

Ever since I decided not to care about how tall I was in heels, I’ve become more of a shoe addict (oh no!) These are my latest additions, some bright red Jeffrey Campbell heels! They’re slightly harder to walk in than the Litas but totally worth it! And what’s better to pair with my bright red shoes than a bright yellow dress?! Usually I wear this dress without a belt (I love the unique a-line silhouette), but I figured since I had a red belt, it’d add to my color scheme! I always get compliments when wearing this dress. People definitely don’t wear bright yellow very often, but I love it! I sort of think people don’t believe it will look good but with some red accents (especially red lipstick!), the yellow makes a beautiful bold statement =)
